Don’t let your emotions make your decisions

Often our feelings cause us to be emotional, leading us into an irrational decision. It’s not just women who are emotional! A man can feel like his wife doesn’t love him because he had an emotional experience when his wife rejected his attempt to cuddle with her. A woman can feel like no one cleans the house except her because she had an overwhelming emotion when her house was in disarray. If he or she develops this emotion with any form of repetition, then he or she may make a knee-jerk reaction deeply rooted in world view beliefs either about the other person, about all people, or possibly about themselves if self-doubt is present. Feelings lead to deeper emotions which lead to decisions. Let us be careful that our thoughts are rewired to align with how we desire to see ourselves and our world.
