Matthew 6:22-23 states, “The eye is the lamp of the body, If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.”

Romans 13:12 “Let is cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.”

This a new year and I believe the Lord is doing a new and uncommon thing here at C5 Fitness. We do not do diets, or training for vanity although strength and endurance are part of what we train for. It is important to me as your coach that your perspective be set on eternal training. When we exercise, we are training our Spirit, Mind, and Body to align with God’s calling on your life. You can not fulfill your calling if you are aimless or looking at what used to be. We must keep focused on what lies ahead. Hope deferred makes one sick, so just keep pressing on like Phil 3:14 says. And don’t get weary like Gal 6:9 says. Be a light for your own soul. I Corin 9:24-27 ESV “I discipline my body and keep it under control.” Don’t look to the right or left, comparison kills contentment. We are unique and all of us have different callings. Put aside the Hollywood image and keep the perspective of having a whole you.
