Whole30 Food Freedom

I truly believe in Whole 30 approved meals but I don’t believe in diets! We all have life that happens all around our food choices. For example, I don’t use diary unless I am sharing a dessert with my spouse. This doesn’t make my choice a bad choice. Keeping in mind that there are some consequences to me eating dairy, I can choose a substitute or get a different dessert that won’t affect my gut. It is important to learn how your body processes and eliminates food. If you are extra thirsty or constipated from certain foods, then maybe you have inflammation from that food and should not put yourself through that consequence. As we age our bodies change so gaining extra weight around the midline is common but you are not getting fat. Your metabolism may need a kick start again, but yo-yo diets will only hurt it. You get to choose what you want to eat. You get to live in your body. Don’t hate your body. It is a gift. You own it, so start today with a reset and make your body something you feel good about living in. I know I don’t like living in a dirty house, so I clean it. Detox doesn’t have to be only 4 x a year, it can be a daily practice. I eat foods that keep most inflammation down. Like no dairy, pork, corn, wheat, sugar, and no alcohol (well this Covid-19 quarantine doesn’t help that). I’m not perfect and I don’t have to be, but I have freedom to choose. Are you happy with your choices? No one judges you except you. We are all judging ourselves, comparing bodies to bodies. God made you, your frame, your family gene, and he gave you the Bible for direction. He said all food is good! My grandmother ate anything she wanted but kept her portions so small and ate so slow, it almost made me crazy! I adored her discipline and habits. She always ate nuts, blueberries, flax seed, and one or two French fries. It was the small habits that kept her weight off. If you need help, I am here for you. Let go of the number on the scale! Let go of the calorie and macro counting! It's a waste of energy because it causes anxiety and higher cortisol levels which ultimately defeats the measure of health.

When I hear this word Value, I think 'Is it worth it?' Like when I eat something or when I want a material item such as an expensive pair of shoes. Value is definitely in question with every decision
